Conferences & Events

I try to attend at least one writing conference a year. The Midwest Writers Workshop at Ball State University is awesome! SCBWI also offers great national and regional conferences throughout the year. Whether you are a writer or an aspiring writer, attending writing conferences will be well worth your time.

I participate in National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), too. You can find me on the site by searching for christophermillay.

Midwest Writers Workshop 2014 is where I met my tribe of Noodle Friends: Amanda, Christine, Val, & Victor (LOVE you guys!). It’s also where I met my secret group of T-Rex writers in 2016. We’re having a blast critiquing, celebrating, and supporting each other.

If you’re attending any of these events, make sure to find me! I’d love to meet you.

I don’t know if I’ll pull off a NaNoWriMo win with the work I’ll be putting in with the students, but helping them win will be worth it.
